Beagle Gap Shenandoah National Park

These were taken on the Appalachian Trail in Shenandoah National Park just off of Beagle Gap on August 30th on Beth's (grandma) annual birthday hike and picnic in the mountians. This was a new hike for us, though an old apple orchard with a view where I could see the farm. We expected to find a vista somewhere along the path but ended up never comming across one so we plopped down on a rock with a qausi vista and had our picnic there. Overall it was a decent hike. The extra weight of Morgan wasn't bad. He slept for most of the hike up and then decided to face forward on the way back down. He ended up getting sun burned that day but didn't seem to mind too much.
